There are four possibilities how to get from the Lublin airport to the city center. You can use public transportation, taxi, train, or bus. Warszawa
From Warsaw airports to Warsaw
Warsaw Chopin Airport (located 8 km from the Warsaw city center)is serving most international flights. There are many options to get to the Warsaw city center from Chopin Airport – trains, municipal public transport and taxis – for more information please visit the airport website:
Warsaw Modlin Airport (located 40 km from the Warsaw city center) is mainly intended for budget airlines. You can get to Warsaw from Modlin Airport by train, bus or taxi. For more information please visit the airport website: http://en.modlinairport.pl/
From Warsaw to Lublin
Lublin lies about 170 km south-east from Warsaw and the journey between these two places takes about 2:30 – 3:00 hrs. You can travel to Lublin from Warsaw by train, bus or coach.
Train. Take a train from Central Railway Station in Warsaw (Warszawa Centralna) to Lublin Main Railway Station (Lublin). You can look up the trains and buy tickets online at http://rozklad-pkp.pl/en or at the ticket office of the railway station.
Buses/coaches. There any many bus companies that offer connections from Warsaw to Lublin. You can check all of them on this website

We recommend two options:
The Polski Bus company, gives the possibility to book the ticket online at http://www.polskibus.com/en/index.htm. Their coaches depart from the Bus Station Metro Wilanowska (Dworzec Autobusowy Metro Wilanowska) in Warsaw, which is located right of the Wilanowska Metro Station (Subway/Tube). To get there from the center of Warsaw take the metro M1 line, direction “Kabaty” and get off at the “Wilanowska” station.
The “Contbus company, offers connections from the center of Warsaw as well as from both Warsaw Airports (Chopin Airport and Modlin Airport). On this website https://www.contbus.pl/rozklad-jazdyYou can find convenient connection to Lublin and buy tickets in advance. However, please note that the Contbus website is only available in Polish.
From Krakow to Lublin

From Krakow to Lublin - The distance from Krakow to Lublin is 310 - 340 km, depending on the selected route. You can get from Krakow to Lublin by car, by train or by bus. However we do not recommend to travel by train. Due to the renovation of the tracks on this route, It is difficult to find a convenient railway connection.
From Krakow to Lublin by car - There are several ways how to get to Lublin by car. We recommend to take the route leading through Bochnia, Tarnów, Mielec, Tarnobrzeg and Kraśnik. This route does not include any fees and runs through the A4 motorway, provincial roads no. 984, 985, 723 and 777 and national roads no. 74 and 19. The length of this route is about 330 km, the journey time is about 4 hours.

From Krakow to Lublin by bus - Bus connections are handled by state and private companies. There are several departures per day. Travel time is 4-5 hours. On sites which are provided below you can check and buy tickets for coaches and buses:

LUBLIN BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT
From the Lublin train station (3 km) it is recommended to take the bus lines no. 13, 30 (buses stop is in the square in front of the main entrance to the railway station).
Both buses go along the Saski Garden, passing on the opposite side (left) buildings of the University. Please leave the bus at bus stop named “KUL” (this is the ninth stop from the train station for the line no. 13 and seventh stop for the line no. 30).
Normal ticket price - 3.20 PLN, discounted ticket (for students and PhD students) – 1.60 PLN. Tickets must be purchased in newsagents shops or in the ticket machines before entering the bus and next validated in the bus.

From the main bus station (PKS): (4 km) it is recommended to take bus lines no. 2, 4, 10, 18, 31, 57.

Transfer from the Lublin airport to the center of Lublin and to the University costs approximately 70 PLN (daytime rate). Transfer from the train station as well as from the main bus station costs approximately 15 PLN (daytime rate). We do not recommend using nonunion taxis.
LUBLIN BY CAR
You can leave your car at Radziszewski street car park (this is street behind the buildings of the University). Number of parking places is limited. On weekdays from 8 am to 5 pm the car park is paid. The fee is 3,00 PLN for the first hour, 3,60 PLN for the second hour, 4,30PLN for third hour and 3,00PLN for every next hour. 24-hour ticket costs 20 PLN.
Parking ticket must be purchased in the parking machine. It accepts NBP coins of the following denominations: 10 gr, 20 gr, 50 gr, 1 zł, 2 zł and 5 zł. However it does not give the change. Parking machines accept also credit cards (Visa and Master Card). Once you have purchased your ticket, place it in a noticeable position at the front window of the car so that the ticket is visible and legible to the person controlling the parking time.
There is no parking fee during the weekend.

There is also a paid car park at Obrońców Pokoju street. It is located 7 minutes walk from the University.
