Instructions for Presentations

Symposia

Symposia are 90 minutes in length including presentations and time for questions. Symposium includes either four presenters who describe their research on the chosen issue and discussant, or five presenters and no discussant. Each presentation should not be longer than 15 minutes. Preferably, the participants represent different institutions or countries. The chairperson is the organizer of the symposium responsible for submitting the abstract for the overall symposium and the abstracts for each of the presentations.

Authors are requested to submit abstracts separately mentioning that they are part of a symposium's title.

Oral Presentations

Individual oral presentations are 15 minutes in length. At the end of the session there will be up to 5 minutes for questions and comments from the audience. The presentations will be grouped into thematic sessions (typically 90 minutes each, including questions). An abstract for oral presentation submission should include following sections: introduction, methodology, results, discussion, and conclusions. It is requested to bring the presentation in a memory stick at least 30 minutes before the beginning of the session. For the oral presentations, the first presenter listed in the program will be a chairperson of the session.

Poster Presentations

The standard size of the poster is 95 cm (wide) x 120 cm (high) in a vertical form. During the poster session the authors are requested to be present to answer questions. An abstract for the poster submission should include following sections: introduction, methodology, results, discussion, and conclusions. Since it is a visual form of presentation the poster should describe the information in a clear, concise and attractive way.  There will be a prize for the best poster: The Best Poster Award.
